Neurofeedback: How does it work?
You sit in front of a computer and play a video. Using your
brainwaves, not your hands. You make the video game work. Anyone can
do it.

As you sit
comfortably, sensors are attached to your head. The sensors read
your brainwaves and transmit them to the computer where they are
displayed for the therapist.
The computer reflects the brain’s activity and gives you
instantaneous feedback as to how you are progressing in your
brainwave activity.
How Much
training does it take?
Noticeable results typically occur between the first and the tenth
session. We generally recommend a minimum of 25 – 40 sessions.
Training time is usually 20 – 30 minutes in length, but please allow
50 minutes for a full session. The goal is to complete enough
training to ensure consistent and lasting benefits.

What can
Neurofeedback help with?
Neurofeedback can
help reduce symptoms related to the following:
Anxiety
Depression
ADD/ADHD
Sleep Problems
Stress Reduction
Learning Disabilities
Emotional Instabilities
Low Self Esteem
Migraines
Neurofeedback
is not a treatment that “fixes” these conditions. All of these
conditions relate, in part, to some type of brain dysregulation.
Neurofeedback improves brain regulation.
